Pakistan celebrated its 76th Independence Day on Monday. This celebration was also joined by an astronaut Sultan AlNeyadi from United Arab Emirates who is currently residing 400 kilometers above the earth. The astronaut shared a picture of Islamabad from the space station and wished Pakistanis a Happy Independence Day.
Dr AlNeyadi posted a tweet that said “Happy Independence Day to all Pakistanis, especially those living in the UAE. As one of the largest expat communities in my country, we have lived together for years and learned a lot about your rich culture. Here’s your capital, Islamabad, from space.”
