The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has invited Pakistani and AJK nationals with CNIC/NICOP/valid Pakistani passports to participate in the six-week Summer Internship Program (SIP) at SBP, Karachi, from June 24, 2024, to August 02, 2024, subject to the eligibility requirements and procedure.

Qualifications
In order to be considered for admission to a master’s program in any of the following fields: business administration, public administration, accounting, finance, commerce, mathematics, statistics, human resources, agriculture, media sciences/mass communication, information systems, technology, or economics, students must have completed at least two (2) of the four (4) years of a bachelor’s degree program.

If the percentage system is used, students must have at least 70% of the possible points, or if the GPA system is used, they must have at least a 3.00 out of 4.00 or 4.00 out of 5.00 CGPA.

How can I submit an application for the procedure?
Applications without the necessary data won’t be considered for shortlisting.

Applications sent via email, surface mail, or in person will not be accepted. Please email techsupport-internship@sbp.org.pk if you experience any technical difficulties submitting the application.

Only SBP in Karachi will host internships. Note that the chosen interns will not receive reimbursement for any transportation expenses incurred during their trip to and from Karachi, nor will they be eligible for housing while participating in the internship.

Five lucky individuals owe their lives to a quick-thinking Apple Watch and its Car Crash detection feature. The incident occurred on the 15 Freeway in Ontario, California, when their car collided with a tree.

Thanks to the Apple Watch’s built-in sensors, emergency services were immediately alerted to the accident, even though the occupants were unable to call for help themselves. “Responders found a single vehicle crashed into a tree,” confirmed a California Highway Patrol official.

This life-saving technology isn’t a first. Previously, a couple was similarly rescued after their Apple Watch detected a crash and sent out an SOS.

Government increases prices of 146 medicines
